Comal County has lifted the burn ban,

               effective May 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.

Bulverde Fire Department would like to thank all those that came out to support our Fireman’s rodeo.

The turn-out was great and exceeded all our expectations.  We are very charged up and already beginning work on our next rodeo.  (Details to come soon.)

We wish to acknowledge Chicken Express, Smithson Valley Family Medicine and Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union for their donations and N.B Mattress for sponsoring the Mutton Bustin’ competition.

 We extend a super grateful shout out to The GVTC Foundation for sponsoring our Bull Riding Competition and to Cameran Nelson and the Guardrail Damage Ahead for the great entertainment they provided after the rodeo.

In addition, we would express our sincere gratitude to Trey Martin and Yancey James at Tejas Rodeo Company the venue, man power, livestock and great emceeing of the event, including the Tejas Rodeo Rough Riders who put on an awesome Grand Entry.

Last but not least, thank you to all the firefighters that came out with their families to participate in some rowdy events and to support their Bulverde brothers!!!

1^st Place Hose Relay Race: Justin Shields, Kyle Ingram, & Bobby Duke, representing Canyon Lake Fire & Rescue

1^st Place Steer Saddling Competition: Keith Brown, Chad Lowry, & Joey McCoin (Bulverde Fire)

1^st Place Dummy Calf Roping: Ruben Lopez, Joey Ritchey, & Logan Huesing (Bulverde Fire)
